About Us

MasonryClub, Inc. was founded in Sun Valley, California in 1988 by Phil Dahl and two of his brothers. In the beginning, we mainly supplied concrete block, fabricated rebar, and cement to large commercial masonry contractors.

In 1993, Phil took over 100 percent ownership of the business and changed the focus of the company to small and medium-size contractors and homeowners with a wider variety of products. In 1994, after the devastating Northridge earthquake, the demand for masonry materials skyrocketed and the company's sales tripled almost overnight. To help with the increased demand, we opened a yard in Canoga Park and brought in Jose Martin to run that yard. Jose has since become one of the owners of the company.

In 1996, we bought out Canoga Masonry, Inc. in Canoga Park and have since turned that yard into our main natural stone yard with over 100 varieties of natural stone that comes from across the United States and Mexico.

We now service a wide array of customers including homeowners, small and medium-size contractors, large commercial contractors, the movie industry, and custom homebuilders among others.

We specialize in serving the masonry industry and represent all of the major masonry manufacturers. We provide a wide variety of natural stone, concrete block, manufactured stone, retaining wall block, and concrete pavers. In addition, the company furnishes sand, cement, rebar, and other masonry specialty items along with landscape materials such as boulders, cobbles, railroad ties, topsoil, and many other products.

Our service area includes the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange counties and each of our yards stock a substantial inventory of masonry products and provides showrooms and displays of the many products we carry.
